The "Curacao guitar foundation" has been founded in the year 2004 by Raimon Martha.The main purpose of the foundation is to give more stimulation to the classical guitar playing on the island of Curacao. Currently we are working on the realization of some great guitar events such as guitar recitals and in the near future some guitar workshops for all the guitar music lovers.

We know that there is a long way to go yet,but we are sure that with dedication and efforts we will reach this goal

On this page we shall dedicate attention to variuos aspects:Lot of links shall be added to renombered guitar sites plus biographys of outstanding guitarists.Last but not least a coverage of our Curacao waltz composers and musicians from the past century who has been working on the upgrading of our antillean dance music, in particular the "Curacao waltz.
